Blog Post 29: Concept 3 - Modified Gear Positioning + Motion Study

To bring about more rotation in the middle section whilst maintaining the same range of motion in the handle, I moved the gear train 10mm closer to the centre. You can see from the new motion study that this has indeed resulted in more substantial movement in the middle section and in turn the gripper:
