Here you can see the matrix table I have put together for evaluating various design aspects of existing products. PDS numbers on the left refer to the specific requirements laid out in the product design specification.
the matrix table above shows how the devices scored out of 5 when I compared them to each requirement set out in the PDS, with the total for each device located at the bottom of the table. This will help me determine exactly what aspects of each device could be used in the ideation process, it has also highlighted any particular shortcomings these devices have and helped to establish what makes these aspects ineffective in their functioning.
