Blog Post 23: Second FEA for Design Concept 3 - Handle v2

Here are the results from the second round of FEA for the improved handle, you can see where I have removed material that is not needed as per the results from the first round of FEA.

You can see from the FEA results above how the new handle design has coped with working stress after having 24% of its geometry removed from the front and sides. The results indicate that these modifications have had no negative impact on the component’s ability to endure the simulated forces specified in previously testing.
